Prunus laurocerasus Etna is a variety of cherry laurel. This variety of laurel is fast-growing, evergreen and a key feature is that it is very resilient to extreme cold weather. The new growth comes out with a reddish tinge. Birds love the berries and the sprays of tiny white flowers in spring attract many pollinators. It is an excellent evergreen plant with green leaves that can easily kept at a specific height with pruning.
This plant has been grown as a standard, making it perfect for privacy all year round if your garden is overlooked.
The stem is 160cm tall, the head above is 70cmx80cm, giving a total height of 230cm.
