A stunning addition to your garden! These highly sought-after architectural Dicksonia Antarctica tree ferns with double-trunks are imported from Tasmania.
Tree ferns grow best in full or partial shade and likes damp conditions, however they are very slow growing at a rate of approx. 2cm a year. Tree ferns require protection from frost in the winter. This can be done by lifting them into a greenhouse or more simply cut back the fronds, pack the crowns (top of the stem) with straw and then wrap the stems in garden fleece. Do this in November and remove the protection in March.
